Upstream Gallery will present a duo presentation with works by Ronald Ophuis (b. 1968) and Joseph Palframan (b. 1998). The two artists are from different generations but are both concerned with political themes and the human condition. Ophuis’ paintings deal with human behavior, suffering, war and conflict. Palframan work is focused on themes around identity and (post-)colonial aesthetics.
