GoMulan Gallery will showcase works by Dion Rosina and Susanne Khalil Yusef at the fair. Dion Rosina (b. 1991) seeks out strange stories, mysteries, mythologies and inexplicable phenomena. He borrows fragments, creates collages and then paints his newly created images in oil on canvas. His approach is similar to sampling; a technique that is often used in hip-hop music, where pieces of jazz compositions are reused in a new song. Susanne Khalil Yusef (b. 1984) creates immersive colourful installations by combining a wide range of media such as murals, ceramics, textiles and sculptures. In her work she raises critical questions about themes such as homeland and displacement, identity and socio-geographic power relations. The stories in her work are closely related to her own biography – such as the conflicts in her home country Palestine, migratory flows, autonomy, Orientalism and exile.

GoMulan Gallery booth will be co-curated by artist Dion Rosina. The gallery not only enjoys providing a platform for young and emerging artists but also offers them the opportunity to further develop their talents beyond the canvas.
